HEINKEL 177 part 1

Another fun project on the table, I started with dry fitting of the cockpit and the interior.

I made some details on the seats and just tried to see how the figures are going to look like because Im going to make this model in flight.

I also managed to do detail some of the cockpit, one button was used from the old electro relay, the the bars were made of transistor legs.

So the basic components of the cockpit are done and now it's time for the primer paint and the actual interior color of the Heinkel. It may look a little boring at the momment but after the painting, Im going to apply Eduard ZOOM PE parts that are already painted and with all the seats and the figures, entire interior will look a lot better.

Autumn Talk -aircraft diorama

Another aircraft diorama that I made in the past. This is HANSA-BRANDENBURG B.I by legato kits in 1:72 scale. This was a lot of fun, the tree was completly made from scratch but the model needed some modifications. Here are the photos:
My very first post on my blog! The vignette is 1/72 scale with diameter of 6cm. The solider and a dog are from the old pack of Revell figures. The base was made on the old cover of mustard dishes. I love to work with natural elements to achieve the wanted realism, that's why I used real wood, rocks and soil. The house was made from the balsa wood and then covered with a putty. I used AK paints and washes. For the reference photos I used photos from ruined city of Saint Lo in 1944. I am very happy with the result because this was the first time I built the ruins on vignette. Here's the result!
