ABANDONED KING TIGER part 5

Slowly finishing the model. I had some fun with MIG ammo washes and pigments. I did some work on the base. I decided to do some mud instead of the snow, be cause I wasn't happy with the realism of the snow. That's it for now, next post are the photos of the finished model.

Fokker D. VII First coat of paint

My very first post on my blog! The vignette is 1/72 scale with diameter of 6cm. The solider and a dog are from the old pack of Revell figures. The base was made on the old cover of mustard dishes. I love to work with natural elements to achieve the wanted realism, that's why I used real wood, rocks and soil. The house was made from the balsa wood and then covered with a putty. I used AK paints and washes. For the reference photos I used photos from ruined city of Saint Lo in 1944. I am very happy with the result because this was the first time I built the ruins on vignette. Here's the result!

Autumn Talk -aircraft diorama

Another aircraft diorama that I made in the past. This is HANSA-BRANDENBURG B.I by legato kits in 1:72 scale. This was a lot of fun, the tree was completly made from scratch but the model needed some modifications. Here are the photos:
