ABANDONED KING TIGER part 3

In this step I used the water and a brush to make the paint chipping(that's why we applied the worn off effect fluid earlier).

Then I applied another coat of Worn off effect fluid, painted the whole model in white and repeat the proccess with water and brush.

To soften an entire model I applied a coat of MIG's WINTER CAMOFLAGE FILTER to soften the contrast a bit. The model looks a bid odd at the momment because that is the base CAMO, now it's time for the markings and weathering!

Fokker D. VII First coat of paint

My very first post on my blog! The vignette is 1/72 scale with diameter of 6cm. The solider and a dog are from the old pack of Revell figures. The base was made on the old cover of mustard dishes. I love to work with natural elements to achieve the wanted realism, that's why I used real wood, rocks and soil. The house was made from the balsa wood and then covered with a putty. I used AK paints and washes. For the reference photos I used photos from ruined city of Saint Lo in 1944. I am very happy with the result because this was the first time I built the ruins on vignette. Here's the result!

Autumn Talk -aircraft diorama

Another aircraft diorama that I made in the past. This is HANSA-BRANDENBURG B.I by legato kits in 1:72 scale. This was a lot of fun, the tree was completly made from scratch but the model needed some modifications. Here are the photos:
